Whats it worth???

Trying to sell my Savage Model 12 in .308 win, blued, black synthetic stock, accu-trigger, heavy free floating 26" barrel, bushnell 5-15x 3200 elite series scope,and adjustable bipods(dont remember the maker but might be harris they were around $80). Ive only put 20 rounds through it so its like new condition. Trying to figure out an asking price. If anybody could throw some quotes my way that would be awesome thanks!

    I have a 1970 257 weatherby mag. in mint condition but don't know what it is worth can someone help me....also I have a uberti 1875 army 45 cal. with the stock on it it looks older any ideas...thanks,Jeff jmaynard@novocon.net

    Do a search on the auction side for your model Rifle. Look for completed auctions only to see what they SELL for not what somebody WANTS for it.

    Current msrp is around $680. Since (fair or not) getting money back out of your accessories is like getting your invesment back on aftermarket/speed parts on your hot rod, don't expect much in return for them. Might be better off keeping the parts for another gun, and just selling the naked rifle. If selling just the rifle, I would try for $550 and settle for $500. If still as a package...$650 and $600 by the same standard. Times is tough, sad to say.

    Assessories don't generally add much to the sale price of a used rifle so I generally split them up. The elite 3200 is a $200+ scope but it probably won't add $20 to the overall price that you can get for the package. I'd sell the rilfe, scope and bipod seperately and I'll bet that you will realize a better overall price in doing so....
