Bolt swap question

Will a stevens/savage model 6/87 bolt work on a 86c ???

It looks as if it will with just slight modification.

I think if I put a small grove in the middle just behind the 2 groves there already it will work.

Anyone have any ideas?????? or a original bolt for a 86c.

  Nope, not without being looked at and done by a professional. It needs to be headspaced.

  Give them a call. They have some parts for your 86, and sometimes have one or two bits they do not catalog.
