Chamber Plugs

I found five chamber plugs for different caliber rifles and what look to be composite funnels about 10 inches long. Two of the composite devices have seals and the other has none. I would like to have more information or an artical on these to figure out if I can use them for cleaning barrels? I have read on some cleaning solvents that you are not to leave them in the barrel for more time it will take to clean the barrel and some are not marked.
