338 Win Mag info please
I'm not new to hand loading ammunition. I have been loading my familiar 308 and 30-06 for over 25 years, so I know about good manuals, equipment, and taking my time.
At the request of a family member I am looking at loading for a 338 Win Mag. My Father-in-law is going on a bear hunt in Alaska, and will also be using this rifle in Africa when he goes back. So I'm looking for a good hard hitting load.
I was given 2 boxes of Nosler Accubond in 225gr. Good, or No?
What have you had success with? Bullets, powder, ect...
I have a year before his trip, but want to save some expensive trial & error with your knowledge.
Thanks

The 338 is fine for Alaska, the bullets you have are great.
Find a good load that shoots well and go enjoy yourself.
Several threads on the 338 have been posted, do a search for them and glean lots of good information.0
