Winchester follower rod
Is this an original Winchester M-1 follower rod? Why is it somewhat coppery in color?
Thanks for your help

It appears to be correct but I can't be sure that it is an original! As to the somewhat coppery color, it has lost all of it's parkerizing finish.

Thanks Huntsman53. 0 -
I think that all of the Winchester follower rods were stamped with A and they are rough machined marked. I have one and I looked around and made sure I got the right part the above is what I purchased.

Cool! I delivered supplies to Baumholder on several different occasions.
I put my Army Service information in my' Signature Block in hopes of finding some of my old buds from the Service. It is still good to find others that served in Germany as well and drank much of their' beer (bier)! LOL!0
