Geha shotgun bbl.
Can anyone suggest where I might find a 12ga. bbl. for the German Geha shotgun? I recently got one that had been HEAVILY painted and stuck in a garden for years!? After cleaning all that paint off the action, bolt, and even stock seem in rather decent cond. but the bbl. is just rusted pitted garbage 'till about 12" from the rec., from there on it's nice and clean but that's way too short to cut down to, isn't it? I'm a lover of anything that shoots, high quality or 'poor man's basic' and I'd love to give life back to this long suffering abuse victum.

oh, sure. mark one or two reply's about a subject and you are 'labeled' an expert on it[;)]. I don't have any parts source for the geha's, sarco did have a few parts but that was some time ago. you could find a 'gunsmith's special' boltless bolt action shotgun at a gunshow and have it fitted to the action (the barrel uses standard mauser l.r. threads 1.100"x 12 tpi). I used to do this with the greener special 'martini' shotguns that came in 12/14 ga. 0
