winchester model 90

Model 90 (1890) .22 with Octagon Nickel Plated Barrel. Would this be original with the nickel plating?

  I have a question and hope that someone can answer it. I have a winchester model 90 an 06 or 62 and I need to know what the firing sequence is because the one I'm working on is not firing right. What is the proper sequence of events from pulling the trigger to firing to chambering the next round

  I may be stating the obvious, but are you using the correct ammo?? The Winchester 1890 only came chambered in .22 shorts, longs, or WRF's. If you tried to feeding the more common .22 LR's through it ain't going to work.
