Rock Chucker Jr. 3
I got the RCBS press for a song and would like to know if this is a good solid press.

I bought mine, used, 35 years ago. It was the only press the former owner had, and the only press I used for 25 years. It's still going strong on my reloading bench.
I added a "rockchucker" a few years back, mainly for the larger opening (I got it cheap).0 -
"great little press" would be a better word. Mines about 41 years old and loaded everything from .32ACP thru .338 Win Mag.
I have many other presses, but that little one is still first on the bench. There are bigger and better, but the Jr. is very solid and should serve you well for a lifetime.
Best of luck.0 -
Don't expect it to last long. I bought mine new in 1976, and I expect it to wear out any decade now. It's my only press other than a little Lee I use for bullet pulling and cast bullet sizing. 0
