Rem 760/7600's
Why is it that the Rem pump rifles have an high MSRP and a low resale?
I mean the prices for used ones here on this auction site are stooopidly high and almost approach cost for a new one.
Yet I am finding 06's in excellent condition for less than $400...alas not on this site!
I've a 7600P that shoots as well as my VSSF at 200yrs and the price disparity is crazy!
I don't know they just seem to get a bumb rap!

30-06 is the most common and the cheapest of the 760. The high dollar ones are the .222,.223,and 257 robertsI have one of every chambering except the .257 roberts but the .222 and 223 in good shape bring over a 1000.00 Region has alot to do with the prices on them also.
here is a few out of my collection of760/7600

I paid $175 for a 760/.300S. It is a great shooter, baslanced well, easy to pack, and plenty accurate for hunting. The .300S is a favorite of mine and the 760/.300 really shines. 0 -
You have to be patient. I shopped the pawnshops for two years. They run $400 to $500 for some rough ones. I finally found this one for $300 as it sits. Its rough on the outside but is nice and clean on the inside. I fly alot and don't have to worry about dingin it up to much. But people sure love thier remingtons. Its a ADL I believe and some bubba sanded off the checkering and refinished the wood. The wood acually matches on the otherside. .270 with a 4X12 Tasco. I can get 1" groups at a 100yrds no problem. Its a good shooter. [img][/img]
