I have many times ...so I thought to ask what models would fit! I see they have one for the 25M It does look same just thought I would ask the "experts" which would fit. sorry if I was wrong to ask in this area. 0 -
At Numrich, I have found the same part listed in the inventory for more than one gun. Obviously, some parts DO fit more than one gun. When this happens I have noted that the Product Number remains the same. So, when you look up Marlin/Glenfield safeties, if you see the same Product Number, even though it is listed under a different gun model, it is the same piece. You can do a search on their web site and they will show you all of the gun models that part fits. In fact, in my case, for one of my handguns, it was listed as Sold Out under one gun, but as available under another model. So I ordered it from that page instead. It fit fine. It pays to search similar guns. [:D] 0 -
so the letter at the end of there part #s from numrich are of no meaning to me? 0 -
That I can't say. You can call them on their 800 number to clarify that detail before placing your order. I would think that if the number isn't totally identical, there very well might be a minor difference. In the cases I experienced, the entire number was the same, including the suffix. 0 -
I recent years Numrich has had a hard time getting parts. Mainly due to the internet. Why sell to them for pennies when you can sell it yourself for more? But the result has been that they often will sell you parts that "Could be made to work". But are not the actual correct part.
To thier credit, they are good about returns. But you are out shipping costs. Whatdaya gonna do? It's either take the chance w/them, or wait and see if something pops up on the auctions. I guess it depends on how big a hurry you're in. But the Marlin Model 80 parts/parts guns do come up for auction pretty regular.0 -
