Value 41 mag
I just bought two marlin 1894fg 41 mags NIB. I was wondering what they are worth. I paid 549 for one and 700 for the other. Both have never been fired and came with the box,paperwok still in the wrapper and a gun lock. Iam thinking around 800to900 dollars. Last manufactures in 1997. Thanks Oak

Well since you announced this the other night in the general discussion forum you should know that pictures are required for any appraisals here. What's in great conditional to you may not be a great condition to some one else.
You need to post some good quality pictures and more than 1 to get an accurate answer.0 -
any time you buy a firearm in a rare Caliber you run the risk of the market getting smaller and smaller but the people wanting that caliber want it with more and more passion. Value is determined when both the seller and New buyer think they got a good deal. and ONLY when an Item changes hands . The 41mag has always been a step child You seem to like it and that is what SHOULD matter to you keep and enjoy both of them . Buy what you like and enjoy them by using them if they go up in value GREAT if not so be it. YMMV 0 -
Oakie,I agree with Perry 100%.IMO from what I've seen lately you got a good deal on one and paid the norm on the other.I don't think you'll get 800to 900 in todays economy.Wish you the best! 0
