Crossbow Bolt Length
I'm new to archery of any type so please ignore my ignorance. Due to a shoulder injury and the fact that MI allows crossbows for anyone over 50, I decided to purchase an inexpensive (S. Korean) crossbow.
My question is, since it came with 16 inch bolts, am I locked in to using 16 inch bolts or can I use 20 inch bolts?
Also, I purchased two different brands of broadheads and it appears that the thread diameters are different. The one brand that fits my 16" bolts has a thread dia. of .150 while the Allen Lightning have a .180 thread diameter. I thought all broadhead threads were standerdized?

I did with mine. Using longer length can extend beyond your safe zone with broadheads. 0
