Colt Aircrewman 38 Special

I would like to know what my Colt Aircrewman 38 special revolver value is.
Says #466 on it. Alloy frame in very good condition.
It was handed down to me, and I've had since 1988.

  That said, If you Aircrewman is the real Mccoy, factory original, with alloy cylinder etc. Depending on condition, $1500-$3000, IMHO.

  I did a smart search for completed auctions on the auction side of the website and did not find any sold there. There were a couple of S&W aircrewman revolvers listed over and over, above $2000, that had not sold.

  Just going by a book, appears only around 1200 made, in 1951.
  poor = $250
  fair = $800
  good = $1500
  very good = $2500
  excellent = $4500
