870 20ga frame vs 870 12ga frame

Searched to no avail. Will a side mount scope mount that fits an 870 express 12 ga fit the small frame 20 ga? This is th kind that uses the crews that hold the action together to secure it to the receiver. Basically the screws would have to be the same layout exactly on both frames for the mount to interchange between the two. Any ideas?

  A single side mount should work. A saddle mount might be too wide.

  One of the mount manufacturers make a saddle mount with 2 nylon spacers to use on a 20 ga. frame gun. just slide one in on each side between mount and receiver and use provided screws.
