Any feedback on the sig 238 .380? Sure like the looks of this gun, thanks.

They are almost a direct copy of the old Colt Mustang. They are favored by many who like the 1911, and a smaller version of it, without the grip safety.

Not only are they a copy, supposedly they're actually built on the original Colt tooling, which was sold to SIG.
There are small design differences, though mostly cosmetic to update the look and make the gun more resemble the other SIG pistols.
If you like a 1911 style pistol, that's about as small as you're going to get!
In terms of quality, its high, but reliability can be variable. Good break-in and proper ammo should help there.0 -
I went to the gun shop with every intention of buying one. The trigger had to be at least 10 pounds. No way to control a little gun with a trigger like that. Bought a cheap Taurus 738. Locks open on last shot. Loaded chamber indicator. Shoots to point of aim. DOA but partial cock on cycle, very smooth and controlable. 2 mags. Best of all - 100% reliable - OK Taurus bashers - have at it. My .357 Tracker is flawless too!
Forgot to mention the 738 is made in the USA!0 -
I really like my 238's. 2 of them very accurate and recoil is not noticeable. I am a 1911 fan so this little weeapon is great for me.
Fit and finish are top notch as well.0 -
Bought one last year.
Pros: Liked the finish. (had the rainbow)
Reliable
Made from a trusted company
Con: Doesn't lock open after the last shot
Grip is alittle small0
