Assume you have already checked scope mounts and given it a good cleaning with copper solvent. I have a Mark V Ultra Light in 257 Weatherby that I couldn't keep within three or four inches. Tried factory and hand loads, changed scopes, cleaned, everything I could think of. Finally tried one shot and let the barrel cool (at least ten minutes), then a second shot and allow to cool, and then the third. Keeps factory and handloads at 1 MOA. Shouldn't be that sensitive but mine is. Good luck.

I'm thinking you have a barrel pressure problem. Try first to full float barrel in the stock, and shoot it. Then try to apply some upward pressure at the fore end of stock to barrel. {shim it}. Bob

Get an inch pound torque wrench and torque both action screws to the same amount . Verticle stringing usually comes from loose or unbalanced screws. WEatherby's usually are not real picky about loads at least mine isnt .I get 1/2 groups from 57 grains of imr 4350 loaded in winchester nickle caseds with any good 150 grain bullet used to shoot nosler ballistic tips but have switched to speers cause i got a deal on 5 boxes of them a while back . Primers are whatever i have the most of currently CCi large rifle
