Remington "New Line Revolver" "Smoot"
Hi Folks,
I have a Remington "New Line Revolver No.4" "Smoot" revolver belonging to my wife's great grandfather. Since we are in our 60's and no kids to pass this onto I'm looking for a possible value of this revolver and holster. From what I have researched the gun was made from around 1879 to 1888.

Nice little revolver. What caliber? .38 or .41? Rimfire or centerfire? Are the barrel markings clear?

nice little gun,,you will get what its worth right here on G.B...IF you list it please refer to your ask the experts question,,so that you will not have any bidders shy away fron a N.R. seller...imo 0 -
Satdealer just e-mailed me and said it's a .38 rimfire. Although ammo would be difficult to find, it's an antique so can be shipped directly to the buyer with some state or local exceptions like New Jersey & NY City.
It appears to be factory nickel plated with ivory grips. Along with the holster, I would expect it to bring in the $350-$400 range.0
