Hatfield .50 Cal Kentucky Rifle

I recently acquired a unfired Hatfield .50 Kentucky Rifle. It was purchased 30 or so years ago and used as a wall hanger in a den until recently. Has anyone had any experience with these rifles? Any info on reliability etc. would be of help.

  Do a search on "Hatfield Muzzle loading Rifles" on the internet. Lots of info there. Evidentlu, some were good and some were bad during their production period.
