S & W Mod 66-4 F-comp.
Recently acquired a 66-4 F-Comp three inch barrel. It came with original plastic case, all paperwork, price tags, etc. - except for original wooden grips. Has some Uncle Mike's on it, I think. Nice, but I want to put the original wood grips that it was furnished with on it. Seems like they have a finger-grooved wooden grip Hogue's? Anyone who has one who can clue me in would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what came on it, but I got some hogues and put them on mine.
Might I suggest that you take a look at a set of Eagle secret service boot grips, checkered. Those are fine wooden stocks as well.0 -
The "original" grips for that gun may be the grips that are on it. Smith has been using Hogue grips since 1994, the same year your 66-4 was introduced. In 1994 they also started using Uncle Mike's grips on the 2 1/2" barrel version. 0 -
