Belgium browning pistol
I have a 38 calibre pistol my father brought back from WW2.
It is marked:
Fabrique national D'armes de Guerre
Haestal Belgique
It has the original leather military holster and is in very good condition.
How do I determine the value

My guess is that you have an FN 1922 in .380. Since pictures were not included with your original post, we can only guess what you have. Below is a link to an auction where a Dutch contract 1922 is for sale.

If yours looks like this, then we're on the right track. Include any specific markings for better detail. that may help narrow it down further.
EDIT:
I forgot to mention, value will only be determined by condition and originality of the firearm. Also, if the magazines are proper or with matching numbers that will increase value. Also the holster and condition will increase value. The reasons listed are why pictures would be necessary to provide a reasonable evaluation and method to determining value.
Hope this helps,
