    No... at least not until now. I suspect that the current bid will be surpassed by a few thousand. That is without a doubt the finest Model 12 Trench Gun I have ever seen.

    Edit: Just in case anyone is interested, that gun was serialized on May 15th, 1943.

    I was absolutely sure that it would top the $8K mark, but with high-end specimens, it is next to impossible to predict what the final bid will be. The $10K selling price does not surprise me.
