C G Huenel Rifle
I recently found a c g huenel rifle along with the bayonet stamped with the date 1917 serial numbers 2940 stamped on the barrel and receiver with the letter h underneath the serial numbers . There is also what looks like a eagle along side the serial no on the receiver. Also on the receiver is the no 15 followed by the letters e xxx. 98 . the number 15 is almost encircled bt what looks to be the letter C that starts above the 1 and ends at the bottem of the5. the rear sight has the no40 on it it has the nos 4 to 20 underneath the adjustible rear sight . Any help with the history of this gun would be much appreciated thanks
