Rem 597 17 HMR buyback

I understand Remington is offering a buyback for their Rem 597 in 17 HMR...only they don't want to give you cash...they want you to take a voucher to buy another Remington product...why would I want that...anyway to just get them to give you $200 in cash to buy what your want?

  Not thru the official buy back program.
  
  You could always try selling on the auction side, or in person at a show, and using the $ to buy what you want.
