Savage 24 ID help

I have a Savage 24 ( no letter after the 24 on the barrel) 223/12ga synthetic stock, selector on hammer, screw in choke,fiber optic front sight, serial # G018*** From all that I can find, it appears to be a 24F model.... But when looking for a rear sight all 24F rear sights have a set screw mount.... mine is a dovetailed rear filler on the barrel ( wearing a scope, rear sight is missing) Any help would be appreciated.

  The blue book of gun values lists a 24F-T a Turkey model in 12/223 or 22 hornet maybe it had a different sight. The old 24 I shot had a really narrow dovetailed rear sight.

  I am going to try a dovetailed rear sight for the older 24 from Numrich... hope it will fit.
