steel case ammo use in a mini 30

I am interested in buying a Ruger Mini 30. I have several boxes of 7.62x39 Russian steel case ammo. How well does the Mini 30 deal with this ammo. Anyone know of any issues?

    In an nutshell:

    Some Mini-30 guns will fire some steel case ammo just fine.

    Some guns will get misfires with some types of steel case ammo because of hard military-type primers designed to help prevent slam-fires in SKS and other military rifles.

    That problem can be potentially fixed with a harder firing pin spring in the Mini-30. Swapping out the spring apparently isn't all that hard or expensive to do.
