glock 22 info

well i just bought a new glock 22 and plan on selling my taurus 24/7 pro, do you all think i am doing the right thing ? i have not been real happy with the taurus and from what i can find to read about the glock everyone says they are the best, do you all feel the same way or am i messing up ?

    i have a glock 22c and iv been very happy with it, i think you have got a better gun with the glock purchase.

    I can't speak specifically about the 22 but I have a 23, a 27, and a 35 that I think are great. Never had a failure and all will shoot better groups than I can. I think you'll be happy with it!

    Well then you havent read too much on the Glock. There are the people that love Glocks and worship them. Then there are just as many people who think anything made of plastic especially Glock are the worst thing ever.

    I can not tell you if you are going to be happy with your purchase or not, only you can. I have Glocks, and Taurus and many other brands that I am happy with. If you shoot the Glock and like the way it feels and you shoot it well then you will be happy. If not then you will keep looking.

    thanks, i hated to get rid of the taurus but gander mountain had the glock on sell for 499 and i couldn't turn it down,,lol,, i took it out and shot 100 rounds thru it and i really like this gun ! put up bottels at 50 yards and busted them no problem !

    A friend died and left me a G22 in 40 S&W w/nite sites, big mag, etc., and I can't hit a single thing with it. My Sig shoots the same caliber very well, as do my Colt, Ruger, Taurus, and Browning. I'm thinking it has to do with the "cowboy syndrome" that one castches after spending an entire infancy watching the Good guys fling bullets at the Bad guys in an overhand motion, culminating in the "bang" part of the shot. I've found that while it looks stupid; it is the only way I can get close to targets with the Glock.

    The Pitch angle of the barrel to the handle on the the glock is a bit different than for the 1911 type pistols. If you shoot the 1911 well you will tend to shoot the glock high and vise versa you will shoot low with the 1911 if you are used to the glocks. The thing is you have to get used to wichever you are going to shoot and stick with it. The Glocks are cheap and easy to maintain and very reliabe. I perfer the 1911 style frames.
