    50.00 to 5000.00 ...need all info off gun.. do all parts match..info is stamed on the slide and frame

    If you can't provide quality photos we would have to have at the very least a specific description of all markings and numbers on the pistol, both internal and external.

    There is so much variation in P 38's that affect value that there is no real way to answer your question. As a example many years ago I responded to a notice on a indoor ranges bulletin board of a P 38 for sale. Contacted the seller and bought the pistol. After researching it. It turned out to be a AC no date, which is one of the rarer and most desirable variations to a P 38 collector.

    barbwire......as to the holster, go over it with a glass to check for all the letters and codes. Just the leather can range in value from $50 to $400+ depending on condition. Don't forget the magazines...check to see if they are numbered to the pistol and look them over carefully for marks. You already have learned about the pistol....make sure that all the numbers match. Condition is everything and one person's "mint" is anothers "very good." You say "letter" which I am assuming are the official capture papers which if they are, is a big plus. Really can't establish value till we get all the answers.[:)]
