Coyote at 45 yards

Shot a coyote with my bow, (Matthews Switchback at 61 pounds), Wednesday. Took him at 45 yards with complete pass through. He ran off into some brush and it got dark on me so I didn't tromp around in there much.

I found the arrow with blood and hair on it so I know I hit him.

Maybe not a confirmed kill but a confirmed hit at 45 yards.

  Just to clear up any questions on this, I have a 45 yard sight pin and have been practicing from that distance so it was not just a shot in the dark so to speak.
  
  I was surprised at the lack of a blood trail but then he did run off into some brush and briars. I wasn't too concerned with finding him as it was getting dark.
