Manhattan Series II (pic heavy)
Series II, 36 cal., 5 in. bbl, Manhattan revolver, made about 1860. Some light rust and pitting, bore is rusty, silver finish is all gone off of the brass trigger guard and backstrap. Most of the screwheads are boogered up. Grips are real nice, look original to me. I'd put condition at fair to good. Looking for a value on this. Action is a little loose, but it locks up tight. The hammer does not always go to full cock, but if you lower the hammer and recock it, it cocks and holds half and full. I would welcome thoughts and opinions on this gun, and especially an adea of value, as it may be going up for sale soon.
Thanks in advance!
