Re: The thread on cleaning metal with paper. Any paper will work to put a shine on metal, even newspaper. Get a can of food out of the kitchen and work over the lid for a short time, notice the shine? Now, strop your pocket knive on a piece of paper (wood works just as well) it will put a keen edge on the blade similar to a barber using a razor strop. Ed
