Building a FAL from a Kit
anyone ever do it?
Hard, easy, special tools?
Thinking of getting a G1 kit, a G1 barrel, and a DSA type I receiver.
I've done 2 AR's from scratch, but they weren't that hard (I had the tools too)
Advice...should I try this, or have it build by a pro?
tips? tools?

ARs are like legos.
FALs are a bit tougher, not impossible for the hobbyist, but it would take about 6 builds to get money back you really need to spend on tools, receiver wrenches, gauge pins for establishing headspace, etc...0
