1902 Colt .380 Semi Auto Value/Info
My Step Father recently inherited a 1902 Colt .380 Semi Automatic pistol from his Fathers passing.
I have not seen the gun yet, but would like to know if these are common or rare. I'm not sure of the barrel length or much else yet, but will see the gun in the next few weeks. From what he says, the gun is all there and in good shape with two extra clips.
He intends to keep it, but knows very little about it.
I'll post pictures later after I have a chance to see it, but any input/information on this pistol would be helpful.

It would be best if you could post quality photos for positive identification and valuation purposes.
Actually the Model 1902 Colt was chambered for the .38 ACP cartridge not the .380. The .380 Colt hammerless pocket model didn't appear until 1908.
