AR Spikes Enhanced Lower Parts Kit

Anyone out there used the Spikes Tactical "Enhanced" Lower Parts Kit and have some comments on it? I've got a new stripped lower from Spikes and thought about giving it a try. It's $150 so I'm not sure if it's worth the extra or not. Wanted to get some opinions first.

    i do not have one, but i too am looking for info on the "Cheaper Than Dirt" LPKs, they are advertised at $47.93..., Chink made ??

    I have not used the Spikes kit but looking at it the Ergo grip and KNS pins would be around $55 additional and do not know whos trigger they use but hard to get a good trigger for under a $100.

    The spiral pins are a nice touch and the allen head stock screw also is. I have KNS and Ergo grips on all my rifles. Also put spiral pins on a couple and allen head stock screws on all.

    All these along with the enhanced trigger guard (nice when shooting with gloves) along with the ambi safety I think it would be a pretty good deal and all the additions are already there.IMHO


    I know the RRA NM is a good trigger. As I stated I do not know what trigger Spikes has in that kit. I would suggest you call them and ask. The upgrades on Spikes kit just to happen to be items that I use and like. If they are not important to you that would be the difference.

    Well if that is so then I would buy the spikes. THAT IS BECAUSE THE PARTICULAR EXTRAS WITH THE SPIKES ARE MY PREFERENCES. Are they any better? Some are not and some are. YMMV

    Thanks, considering the upgrades and extras that are already with the Spikes would you take it over a RRA two stage at the same price? That's the only other trigger I have really considered. I have a 9mm RRA which has their single stage trigger, but I hear a lot of good things about their NM two stage. This build is going to have a 14.5in BCM upper so its just a fun gun, not a precision AR. Durability is more important on this one.

    Another update, Tom at Spikes replied to my e-mail and said they use the same government contractor as Colt for their LPK. Didn't actually say who exaclty for whatever reason. Then they have the nickel boron finish done to them.
