270 rem t/c contender barrel

there is a 270 rem t/c barrel on gunbroker listed as being for the contender.Ive been under the impression the contenders were pistol and low pressure and asked the person selling and they said they thought it was for the contender also----or is it really an encore barrel?

    35 Rem
    6.8 SPC
    2 of those would work on a Contender frame

    That barrel is a 270 REN. The REN is a 22 hornet case opened up to shoot a .277 diameter .270 bullet. Eddie
