Eh, it isn't terrible but it isn't wholesale .....[;)]
A new 458 RRA upper is about $700.00 - if this one's used it should be had for less, I think. A lower with basic parts kit, meaning no super duper expensive trigger or stock, should go about $225.00?
Maybe the fellow who traded in the gun got the "no one's going to want this - it's not 223 and I'm only going to be able to sell it to a reloader" and the shop has low $$$ tied up in the gun?
I'd offer $900.00 unless the scope is worth $200.00.0 -
CHEVELLE427,
This will be one of the very few times I will ever type this statement:
Save your money for an AR10 rifle and give this one a pass.
I am an ardent supporter of odd cartridges, wildcats and anything out of the ordinary as far as cartridges are concerned but this one is at the bottom of the pile for me. This whole concept has been forced right from the beginning and has made no headway since it's introduction except for a very small percentage of 'thumper' lovers. A new, complete rifle from RRA is only $1150.00 per their website. Ammo, if and when available, is running $64.00+/20 and Starline is out of brass again. Move on to a better rifle/cartridge combination.
