The barrel looks like it might be from a older T-C contender 45-410 to strighten out the shot cup from the rifleing.

The barrel was an interesting attempt by TC to get around the problems caused by spiral rifling in shotgun handguns. Uncle Sugar says you can have a handgun shotgun, but it has to have rifling, which we all know is not good for reliable shot patterns. I guess TC reasoned that there is no mention in the law that the rifling HAS to SPIRAL.[:D] So, you screwed this on the end of your TC and at the last split second before the shot leaves the barrel, this bit of straight rifling was supposed to stop the spin of the shot. I don't know how effective it was. Maybe some TC owners out there can chime in. I sure wouldn't want to forget and fire a .45 Colt bullet while it was still on. That might get exciting. [}:)]

I am not sure about the floor plate, but the barrel choke tube is for a T/C Contender. I believe it is for the 357, or 44 Magnum Hot-Shot barrels. Which one is determined by the diameter, and by the diameter you listed, it is for the .357 Magnum Hot-Shot barrel. A 45 Colt, OR A 44 Magnum would not fit thru that constriction.

You wouldnt fit a 45 Colt or a 410 in the barrel that this is supposed to go into anyway. This is for the 357 Hot-Shot Barrel
