Remington Rolling Block #4 Age ???
Hey Folks:
I've been trying to restore an old rigid frame Remington #4 .22. I am down to just a few parts. With that being said, I am considering putting it on GB, but I cannot seem to figure out the age of the gun. I wanted to know so I could see if I would need to ship it to an FFL or holder.
The serial is 13157X

According to Flayderman #4's were made as late as the 30's. Unless you could substantiate that yours was made before 1898, don't see how it could be classified as a antique. 0 -

That is what I got out of it. I have looked and looked, but I don't think I could substantiate a pre-'98 from the serial number, however, I have noticed stranger things. I just listed it as requiring and FFL.
Thanks so much.0
