Mosin Nagant M38 Stock Removal

I am trying to remove the stock on this rifle. It looks like that I need to remove the bolt in order to remove the screw at the rear of the bolt. How do I remove the bolt?

    If it is like the M91/30 just work the bolt like you are chambering a round and as you pull backward squeeze the trigger, bolt comes right out. Squeeze trigger to reinstall bolt, if you hold trigger back when bolt closes spring will be relaxed.

    You da man Gerald! Thanks. BTW, I bought a couple of acres in Spring Creek a little north of you about 5 years ago. Hope to build a log home there.

    Don't know Gerald. I've been there just 3 times. Once to look at property around central/north NV, next to decide and talk to a realtor about Spring Creek, and then after buying the prop talking to a builder. I did meet a couple from Elko on GB and went out to an abandend mine just a few min out of town w/ them. You can just blast away w/ anything. Nothing like Indiana!

    [I get antelope come right up within 50yds of my back door. The buck has horns almost twice as tall as his ears. Hopefully next year I can draw a tag.
