    If it is not marked - and there are some peculiar codes - if it has 28 or 30" barrels it is most likely full and modified, if 26", improved cylinder and modified.

    There are normally markings like an "*" or series of these under the forearm part of the barrel. If not, here is a "general" measurement:

    ITEM CONST

    Skeet #10612 .615

    Modified #10614 .600
    Imp.Mod. #10615 .595
    Full #10616 .590
    X-Full #10617 .585
    Turkey #10651 .575

    Use a vernier to check.

    The 20 gauge barrel bore runs about .615 to .620" Bob

    Take the barrels off of the gun and look underneath of them, if its not marked you will have to measure.
