Mountain Air Custom Pellet Guns
Hey Everybody,
I am getting ready to order a custom pellet pistol from Mountain Air Custom Guns. Has anybody ever ordered from this company? From what I gather, the guy running the shop is really good and makes some really accurate and powerful models.
Thanks again and take care!

WOW - that site offers LOTS of info. Good on ya and thanks!
You seem like an expert, so, IYO, what is the most powerful 177 pellet pistol gun out there? Price is no option but I would like a pneumatic unit that is accurate and ultra powerful. Custom gig options? I am really sorry to admit I am a total novice, so, any/all advice is greatly appreciated. In short, all I want to do is find the most powerful pellet pistol available to shoot targets and blow stuff up at my mountain cottage.
Thanks again and take care!0 -
Sir: I'm far from an expert, But I do have a few of these guns and play a lot with then. The Browning 800 is a barrel break spring gun in .177 and they say 800 fps, as far as air there is Co2 and compress air. This web has most of the current pistol -http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/show.pl?cmd_pistols=show_guns_caliber&Caliber=0.177 I have a Crosman 600 semi auto Co2 .22 pistol and it will take out rabbits and squirrels. Don't know if this helps. 0 -
Ah soo,
So they say the Browing Mag 800 fires at 700 fps in a 177, but is this the case? I have found that often these measurements are generous, but again, I am a total novice.
Can't anybody make bb pistol guns with this same performance and power?0 -
Beman has (or had) a .177 pellet pistol that was rated at 1000 fps. I want to say it was the P-1 or P-41. Looks like a 1911. Pretty accurate but a bit hard to cock. 0
