1863 Parkers Snow Musket
Hello,
I have an 1863 Parkers Snow musket that I am interested in selling. It may have had the barrel cut down as the overall length of the gun is 48 3/4".
What is a "ballpark" estimate on where I should be starting on a price?
Thanks

No offense intended but that gun is a mess! Besides both the barrel and stock being cut, it has replacement screws and looks like someone slopped paint over the metal parts.
Value is very low as a collectible. However, someone will buy it as a wallhanger or possibly for parts as a Parkers Snow is a good contract lock, which is the most valuable part.
I would list it at $99 with no reserve and let the market do its job. You may be surprised what someone may pay just to get the lock.0
