  looks like its off of a older marlin bolt action .22 to me. eastbank.

  The sight is pictured in the book Old Gunsights by Nick Stroebel. It is a Marlin model S-11 but no mention is made of which rifle it fits. The book pictures and describes an extra aperture that screws into the hole in the large adjustment knob on the left side of the sight.

  I can't answer the original question as to who made the sight. It may have been made by Marlin but I suspect it was produced for Marlin by one of the sight companies.

  appears to be foe a mod 81DL marlin. At least that is what mine has on it.
