    Welcome to the forums.

Do not shoot modern ammunition in any gun labeled Damascus or laminated steel. Black powder loads might be ok if you have the gun checked out by a competent gunsmith first, but even then it's questionable. Damascus barrels are known for blowing up even back when they were the newest technology.

Your gun was probably made about 100 years ago. Even though not shootable it could be worth $200 or so as a decorative piece.

Someone may be along soon who can tell you about the Faultless trade name.

Crescent Firearms, and their successor company H & D Folsom, made guns for every hardware store, mail order house, and Five & Dime store in the US. The customer would specify the brand name they wanted on the gun (Sears and JC Higgins as a fr'instance) The Faultless name was used for John M. Smythe Hdw. Co. Chicago IL. While other companies may have used the Faultless name, Folsom certainly did.

Your 20 g is likely well over 100 years old. As already said, would not shoot ANYTHING in it until a competent smith gives it a thumbs up- and even then, no modern smokeless, high energy shells.

"Fine Damascus Finish" may not be Damascus steel but a simulated Damascus pattern on plain steel barrels for lower priced shotguns.
Fine Damascus barrels sold for more than plain barrels.
You can determine what you have by examining the barrels under the forend for pattern. Some finish may have to be removed to do so.
If bores are bright having no deep pits or dents and the action locks up tight with no wiggle, the gun may be safe to fire.
If Damascus, shoot only black powder and if plain steel, shoot only
    target or light field loads.
