winchester 1897 3 screw

I own a winchester model 1897 and i was wondering if anyone could give me more info on it. i picked it up about 10 years ago for $250 Canadian.
here are some of the features of the gun. if you need more i can take pics too.
It is a model 1897 "take down" (pulls in half)
-serical number C over 197889
-barrel is about 20" and says full also the last pat . date is Oct 16 1900.
-3 screw forend( cracked in half!)
-round magazine end cap.
please let me know if you can help me with a date or any info.

Hello Trevor,
Your Model 1897 is a Field grade gun, manufactured in February of 1903. Originally it had a 30-inch barrel.
It is quite common to find the "C" series guns with a cracked slide handles.0 -
