    The process can be referred to as 'Hydro Graphics' or 'Water Transfer Film' camouflage. It's quite a process really and very reasonably priced as opposed to original painting of a stock by a good air brush person.

    I have used it with great results on several lower priced custom rifles where the price point was a controlling factor. It has held up well on the one that I did as a test and loaner rifle. The drawback, if you want a negative, is that it's not a home based process in that you could do it in your kitchen. It requires some specialized equipment and training to apply.

    Not that this is not an endorsement. . .I've never tried the product. If you want to learn more, there are a few videoes of this product being applied on youtube, and you can "Google" for different user-reviews from people who have tried it.
