New SIG Grip Screws????
The new SIG pistols have socket-headed grip screws. They aren't Allen heads, and they aren't quite Torx heads, but are more like Torx than Allen.
What sort of bit do they take? And where can I get one?
I did a search at Brownell's and came up with nothing.

Could they be metric Torx? Suggest calling Sig and asking them where to get the bit...it may be some kinda new design but Sig has to have the tools. 0 -
A T20 fits mine with a hair of slack. If I would need to take them off I would not be scared of rounding.
But since these are some of the best grips I have ever held I may never find out[:D]0 -
Lot of the European stuff is metric. It might be a Torx type screw only with metric dimensions. I've had a lot of aggravation with metric allens in the past, just recently was working on a new Walther pistol that somebody had swapped a U.S. allen for the metric allen that was supposed to come with the pistol. 0 -

3rd.item down shows the bit itself for a whoppin $1.950 -
Torx Plus is different then standard Torx, the corners are rounded. You will likely strip it by using a Torx bit. You should be able to find a Torx Plus set at your local hardware as they are getting more popular.

Yep, I too checked sig's site first. They list just the screws but no tool.
Now that we know the size ,as shoft14 stated, most anyplace that sells tools should have them.0
