scope
I am looking for a good..not great scopr for a Winchester Model 70 30-06. The P.O.S on it now has such a narrow field of view. I would like one that allows for more of a full field view. Any suggestions?

I bought a ART II scope and it looks to be in good shape.
Can any body tell me who made it,and any value. The only thing I can see wrong with it is a little foging on the lense. Is there any body who can work on it?
Thanks0 -
Most air guns have a 11mm dovetail groove. Different than most 22 rifles with the exception of some foreign models. Midway as well most larger shooting supply sources have 11mm bases in various heights like normal 22 rifle 1 in rings. They also have 11mm detachable bases. Get a caliper measure the dovetail groove and lay the scope on the receiver and measure how much height you need...the lower the better..keeps your face on the stock and reduces the distance between line of sight and flight of projectile....then get on the phone 1 800 243 3220. (243 like the rifle and 32-20 like the pistol.) 0 -
11mm = 7/16, for all practical purposes. If you going to measure it with a caliper the ballpark dimension, is going to be in the .435-.445 range. 0 -
