Today Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones called to "close the gun show loophole." I have e-mailed the mayor and posted a response on FirearmsTruth.com:

  Progressives are spineless morons.
  
  The article is correct. The talk out of both sides of the mouth. When your mouth is THAT full of manure, what else is a progressive to do?

  Big city Mayors will always be anti guns. As long as drug dealers and users are killing children on the streets with illegal guns...
  Most folks dont understand the truth about gun control and even know what the 2nd amendment is.

  I would only take issue with your statement: 'Yes, illegal guns are a problem...'
  
  As long as there is such a thing as an 'illegal gun', there will be infringements upon our rights.
  
  If we accept the premise that a background check is necessary at any level, we are obviously accepting that a background check is necessary at all levels and the only logical end is the complete national elimination of private gun sales.
