How to remove extractor ... Ruger Mk 3

The plunger will not push back far enough to allow the extractor to be removed.... Any kinks of how.... Thanks

On the MKII you need to push the cross pin part way out that holds in the firing pin in order to compress the pluger enough. You only have to push this pin out about halfway so that you don't need to take out the firing pin. This may be the same on the MKIII I don't know.
