Sig P220 ST - Jamming with reloads

I reload and am very precise but was wonder if the cleaned and spent casings are hard to put into the shell holder, is that a good time to trash the brass?

  I don't know if this is the answer your looking for, but I had one of the early Browning 220's. It would not freed semi-wadcutter, ( H & G 68's), reloads worth beans. Worked fine with any kind of roundnose lead, but would choke on the semi-wadcutters. I tinkered with it for years, never could get it to function reliably.
